Trip Highlights from a 4 paws

Well, I know some of you have gone into Goldenrodontheroad withdrawal and actually I have missed writing.
I thought I would give all my 4-paws buddies some ontheroad advice. Rest stops for doggies in Iowas and Nebraska are really really nice. They are near the tall corny stuff my Mom likes, with lots of good smells of mice and field things. In Nebraska there are nice 2 paws at rest areas who ask 'how are you' 'do you like traveling' and then they scratch you on the head. One not so good things was the loud rain with the crashing lights--ooooh don't like those crashing lights sounds. Sounds like a very big 4 paws bearing down on me--nope--was glad to leave the plains, my Mom called them that.

Then to Denver and a place with hills and sunsets and then to a very nice hotel lady that I told you about. But--no resting places--so I had to pee behind a gas station--the humiliation! They like big skys and hills, but not so much other 2 paws or 4 paws that need resting places.

I came then to a place called New Mexico. Wonder if there is an Old Mexico? This newish Mexico place had a great rest place with lots of wooden building and a place for me to go off by the rocks--huff, puff....arghhh...comeon Mom...off by the puff rocks. And then she says NO loud and Mom-like and I don't go to the rocks--again the humiliation I have to pee on the sand where all the 2 paws can see me. I turn my back and then look over my shoulder and there is a strange granny 2 paws smiling at me--the humiliation!!

We go back to the big wheeler box and Mom gets out her picture thing and I sit up and get ready to smileand POP--she takes the picture above--not me..and she says this is why I get to go to no rocks here. She takes pictures then of mountains, sunset, ROCKS, but not of me! And I am smiling all along! All right--enough--I'm going to nap now.
